Enjoy a morning immersed in the wonder of our local fynbos flora. Be informed, be inspired, be creative.
Having grown up on a family protea farm in the Stellenbosch mountains, Nicky has been involved with event decor, specialising in fynbos and protea, for about 10 years, and started running workshops in 2021. She was motivated to run these workshops to pass on her first hand knowledge and evoke passion and fascination for this beautiful and diverse floral vegetation type. During the workshop Nicky will talk about protea farming, present basic information on understanding proteas and fynbos, and provide guidelines, hints and tips for using them as floral decor.

What is included in the ticket price?
Delicious freshly brewed coffee and tea with pastries. The morning workshop with all materials needed to create your own floral masterpiece - just bring your own secateurs please! A stunning display of fynbos and protea specimens to admire. A mid morning glass of wine and refreshment. Guests are welcome to book for lunch, should they like to stay for longer.
