Gelli plate monoprinting by Hermien van der Merwe

Creating artworks with gelli plates and printing inks are easy and fun! I will take you step-by-step through the print-making process and show you how to create the most beautiful prints of plants and other interesting materials. 

We will:
-Use gelli plates to create monoprints; (I will provide a gelli plate for every student to work on.)
-Experiment with colours / textures / shapes and stencils using a variety of printmaking objects: plant material / paper / fabric etc.
-Enhance your print using a variety of art materials to create a finished artwork.
