Babylonstoren Farm to Fragrance: Distilling essential oils from the garden, presented by Liesl van der Walt & Magdel Kinghorn

Join us on a guided walk through the garden as we seek the most fragrant leaves, flowers and beautiful fruits. We will pick and fill our baskets on our way to the Flower Room to make “tussie-mussies” or pretty posies, inspired by seasonal colours and textures. We’ll end our walk in the Scented Room to discover how the essential oils of rosemary, lavender and rose geranium grown on the farm are gently released through steam distilling.
