Welcome to this small suburban garden, divided into different spaces.
There is however diversity in the “rooms” such as a vegetable garden, a dry section that is reliant only on rainwater, and then an exuberant “playroom”… where self-seeding reigns supreme.
As a result of limited space, pear and plum trees are trellised against the wall. The owner is passionate about the earth and makes their own compost. Rainwater is collected in four tanks.
Discarded material inspires and the owner try to use it functionally and creatively.
“My garden is my refuge. In it, I dream and is the place where the birds, my dogs, frogs, and elves live in symbiosis. It is the place where I repeatedly stand in amazement that: This is all of God”
